Mosman Church of England Preparatory School offers a range of scholarships to encourage outstanding students from all backgrounds, and provide them with the essential gifts of individual attention, thoughtful education and meaningful experiences that empower them to thrive.
Our scholarship program is focused on academic excellence, aptitude in creative arts and all round abilities. Scholarships allow for remission of part tuition fees (up to 50%) throughout a student’s primary education through to Year 6. They are available for internal and external applicants, and are subject to satisfactory progress and review.

Academic Scholarships are available for students boys entering Year 3 and Year 4 for the 2021 school year. They are awarded on the performance of the student in the scholarship examination to be held on Friday 30 October 2020 at the School. An interview with the Headmaster for short- listed candidates is an integral part of the process of awarding scholarships. Applicants are also assessed on a portfolio of other achievements.
Current students may apply for scholarships. The scholarship is tenable for the years of primary schooling, provided that the scholarship winner continues to contribute positively to the Mosman Prep community.

Applications for academic scholarships for 2021 are now open. Applications close on Wednesday 21 October 2020, and the Scholarship exam will be held on Friday 30 October 2020.

How are the recipients of academic scholarships decided?
Academic scholarships are awarded on the basis of:
Music Scholarships are available to boys entering Year 1 and Year 2 are offered to acknowledge the School’s commitment to and excellence in Creative Arts. Applicants are required to be able to read and play music of a high standard (at least Grade 2 AMEB or equivalent) on a piano, string instrument or both.
Our Music program is coordinated by two specialist teachers and supported by a team of music educators to inspire young musicians. To qualify, students must show evidence of outstanding musical achievement.

Applications for academic scholarships for 2021 are now open. Applications close on Friday 16 October 2020, and the practical Scholarship assessment, including: playing 2 musical pieces, an aural test (rhythm and pitch), and singing and sight reading will take place on Friday 30 October 2020 at the School. An interview with the Headmaster for short-listed candidates is an integral part of the process of awarding scholarships. Applicants are also assessed on a portfolio of other achievements.
