Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarships 2027 and Beyond

Mosman Church of England Preparatory School offers a range of scholarships to encourage outstanding students from all backgrounds and provide opportunities for boys who would benefit from the School’s individual attention, thoughtful education and broad experiences.

The scholarship program is focused on academic excellence, aptitude in creative arts and all round ability. Scholarships may provide remission of part tuition fees, up to 50%, throughout a student’s primary education through to Year 6. Scholarships are available for internal and external applicants and are subject to satisfactory progress and review.

Each year, scholarships are awarded to boys entering Years 1 to 5 the following year.

Music Scholarships

Music scholarships are available for students entering Years 1 and 2 who show strong musical aptitude and a positive work ethic.

Academic Scholarships

Academic scholarships for students entering Years 3, 4 and 5 are awarded based on the student’s performance in the scholarship examination. Applicants are also assessed on a portfolio of other achievements.

Academic scholarships are awarded based on:

  • Demonstrated performance in the scholarship examination.
  • Excellence shown in supporting documentation, including school reports, external competition reports and NAPLAN results if applicable.
  • Other qualities considered against the School values and motto, Not for Ourselves Alone, that will enable a boy to contribute positively to the life of Mosman Prep.
  • An interview with the Headmaster.
