Scholarships

Mosman Church of England Preparatory School offers a range of scholarships to encourage outstanding students from all backgrounds, and provide them with the essential gifts of individual attention, thoughtful education, and meaningful experiences that empower them to thrive during their critical early years.

Our scholarship program is focused on academic excellence, aptitude in creative arts and all round abilities. Scholarships allow for remission of part tuition fees (up to 50%) throughout a student’s primary education through to Year 6. They are available for internal and external applicants, and are subject to satisfactory progress and review.

Each year, scholarships are awarded to boys entering Years 1 - 5 the following year. This is a unique opportunity to join a school where all students are valued, challenged, and part of a wonderful community.

Music Scholarships
Music Scholarships are available to boys entering Year 1 and Year 2, and are offered to acknowledge the School’s commitment to and excellence in Creative Arts.

There are two Music Scholarships on offer:

  • Aspiring musicians with a strong musical aptitude.
  • Musicians who have the ability to read music and have commenced playing either a String or Wind instrument

Our Music program is coordinated by two specialist teachers and supported by a team of music educators to inspire young musicians. To qualify, applicants must undertake a practical Scholarship assessment, including an aural test (rhythm and pitch), singing, and memory test. An interview with the Headmaster for short-listed candidates is an integral part of the process of awarding scholarships.
